Nail stickers · 6 steps · 14 Halloween styles
Stickers give you spooky art with no painting. The secret to stickers that stay flat is a clean color layer and a full seal of the edges.
You will need
- Halloween Nail Art Stickers
- Gel color
- Base coat
- No wipe top coat
- Tweezers
- LED lamp
-
Prep the nail
Push back, buff and wipe the nail clean, then dehydrate with pH Bond.
TipStickers sit on top of the gel, so the base work still matters.
-
Base and color
Apply a thin coat of base coat and cure, then two thin coats of color, curing each one. Black, white, orange and purple all suit Halloween stickers.
TipPale colors show colorful stickers. Dark colors show white and glow stickers.
-
Choose the sticker
Halloween Nail Art Stickers come in 14 styles, from pumpkins and bats to skulls and webs. Cut out the pieces you want before you start so everything is within reach.
TipTwo of the styles glow in the dark.
-
Place and press
Lift the sticker with tweezers, set it on the cured, wiped color, and press it flat from the center out to the edges.
TipKeep the sticker away from the cuticle line so gel never touches the skin.
-
Seal over the top
Brush a thin layer of no wipe top coat over the sticker, covering every edge of the art, then cure.
TipCover the free edge too. It is where stickers lift first.
-
Finish
Wipe away any dust, then finish with cuticle oil.
TipA second thin layer of top coat adds more protection for hands that work all day.
