Frequently asked questions

These are the questions we are actually asked, answered properly. If yours is not here, the contact page has a form for it.

Buying

Where can I buy Cre8tion products?

Everything on this site is available from C8 Nail Supply, our authorized distributor. Anyone can order — you do not need an account or a licence.

To buy locally instead, our full list of authorized distributors is at cre8tionproducts.com/pages/distributors.

Do you sell directly to the public?

No. Cre8tion manufactures and sells through authorized distributors, which is why prices on this site are shown as MSRP and there is no checkout here.

That does not mean you cannot buy. C8 Nail Supply takes orders online from anyone at c8nailsupply.com, no licence required.

Do you ship outside the United States?

We have authorized distributors in Australia, Canada, Switzerland and Vietnam as well as across the United States. Buying from the one nearest you is almost always faster and cheaper than shipping from California.

Check the distributor list first. If your country is not on it, email info@cre8tionproducts.com with your city and what you were hoping to order and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

I cannot find a shade any more. Is it discontinued?

Some shades do retire. Our matching guide at cre8tionproducts.com/matching-colors is the place to start, and it will usually point you at the closest current colour.

If there is no match listed, email info@cre8tionproducts.com with the shade name or number. We would rather tell you plainly that nothing matches than send you looking.

Can I buy just a replacement part — a bulb, an adapter, a pack of files?

Sometimes, and it is worth asking rather than buying a whole new kit. Some parts are stocked separately, some were only ever made for a discontinued model.

Email info@cre8tionproducts.com with the item number from the machine and tell us what you need. If the part exists we will point you at a distributor who has it.

Products

Do I need a base coat under gel or lacquer?

Yes — both soak-off gel and lacquer need a base coat for adhesion. Skipping it is the most common reason colour lifts within a week.

Builder gel in a jar still goes over a prepped, primed nail. Prep, base, build, colour, top — miss a layer and the one above it lifts.

My cat eye gel is not moving. What am I doing wrong?

Cat eye needs a magnet — the effect will not appear on its own. Hold the magnet close to the wet coat for a few seconds before curing, then cure fully.

A dark base underneath makes the line much stronger, and one coat rarely gives the effect people expect. Two thin coats, magnet on each.

The gel burns or gets hot under the lamp. Is the product faulty?

Usually not. That heat spike is the gel curing quickly, and a thick coat curing fast releases more heat at once. It is uncomfortable but it is not a defect.

Thinner coats and a flash cure - a few seconds in, out, then back in - almost always fix it. If it keeps happening on thin coats, email info@cre8tionproducts.com with the batch number and we will look at it.

Where are the application instructions?

Our guides are at cre8tionproducts.com/pages/application-guides, covering dip powder, nail art effects, titanium gel, charms, flakes and lacquer.

Effect finishes such as Northern Lights, Titanium and chrome need extra steps beyond a standard soak-off gel. If a guide is missing for something you use, tell us and we will write one.

Safety

Where do I find the Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS) for a product?

Every sheet we publish is at cre8tionproducts.com/pages/msds, grouped by product family.

If you are building an OSHA binder and need to confirm you have the current revision, email info@cre8tionproducts.com with the product name and we will confirm the revision date in writing.

Do your gels contain HEMA or TPO?

Most of our gels do contain TPO. The exceptions are the lines specifically labelled HEMA free and TPO free — if a product is one of those, it says so on the label and on its product page.

For a specific product, the Safety Data Sheet is the authority. Never take an answer from us over the sheet.

A client reacted to a product. What should I do?

Stop using the product on that client and advise them to seek medical advice. Their health comes before anything we can tell you.

Then email info@cre8tionproducts.com with the product name and the batch number from the bottle, and put REACTION in the subject line. We treat these as urgent.

Who are Cre8tion products distributed by?

Cre8tion Products is a brand of Beauty Page Inc., 11561 Westminster Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92843.

Cosmetic products carry Beauty Page Inc. as the responsible party on the label, which is what US cosmetic labelling rules require.

Warranty

How long is my lamp or drill covered for?

The manual that came in the box sets the term. Current equipment generally carries three months. Certain higher-value machines carry a full year.

Whatever the term, open and run every machine within 30 days of it arriving. A unit that is dead on arrival is replaced or refunded — after 30 days it is inspected and repaired or replaced instead. Full terms are on the warranty page.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Use the form at cre8tionproducts.com/pages/warranty-claim. It takes the receipt, the photos and the item number in one go, and sends you a confirmation email with a reference number for your claim.

Have your dated receipt to hand before you start - a photo of it on your phone is enough. That one attachment is the difference between a decision in a couple of days and three weeks of email back and forth.

I do not have my receipt any more.

Without proof of purchase we cannot tell how old a unit is or how it was used before it reached you, so it falls outside what the warranty covers. We will usually offer a discount on a replacement instead.

Before you give up: if you bought from a distributor, their invoice counts. Tell us who you bought from and we will ask them on your behalf.

I bought it from a distributor or on Amazon, not from Cre8tion. Will you still help?

Yes. A manufacturing fault is ours to fix wherever you bought it, and we handle those claims directly.

One thing to expect: we cannot refund money we did not take. A refund has to come from whoever sold it to you. What we can do is replace the item, which is usually faster anyway.

Can you repair my machine?

We do not offer a repair service. Where a claim is approved we replace the unit rather than repairing it.

We would rather say that up front than have you wait weeks for a repair that was never coming.

Should I ship the faulty item back to you?

Not yet. Do not send anything until we have given you an RMA number — packages that arrive without one may be refused or destroyed, and we cannot be responsible for them.

Return shipping is not covered by the warranty. That cost is yours, and we strongly recommend an insured, trackable service.

Wholesale

How do I carry Cre8tion in my store?

Apply at cre8tionproducts.com/pages/wholesale. We sell to licensed sellers only, so you will need a valid resale permit and your business tax ID. A phone photo of each is fine - nothing needs to be posted.

Before we come back to you we check whether your territory is already covered by one of our distributors, which is why the form asks where you want to sell.

What are your order minimums?

Minimums are set per item rather than per order, and they follow how a product is packed - acetone ships four gallons to a case, for example.

Tell us on your application which lines you are interested in and we will confirm the case quantities and terms that apply to them.

Can I get exclusive rights to my territory?

We check whether your area is already covered by an existing distributor before we approve any new account, so we are not going to sign you up and put someone else two streets away without a conversation.

If exclusivity matters to you, say so in the Territory box on the application. You will get a straight answer either way rather than the question being left open.

Do you quote container or truckload volume?

Yes, for distributors. Say so on the wholesale application and tell us roughly what you are looking to move, and we will quote it.

Salons and creators

How do I find a salon near me that uses Cre8tion?

Try cre8tionproducts.com/pages/find-a-salon. Every salon listed there uses our products and asked to be listed, and we confirm it with their distributor before the listing goes live.

The directory is new, so it is still filling out. If nothing is near you yet, email info@cre8tionproducts.com with your city and we will check which distributor covers your area — they know which salons buy from them.

My salon uses Cre8tion. Can we be listed on your site?

Yes, and it is free — there is nothing to pay now or later. Add your salon at cre8tionproducts.com/pages/list-my-salon.

We confirm with the distributor you buy from before the listing goes live. That check is the point of the directory: a client who finds you there knows you really do use our products.

Can I be a Cre8tion brand ambassador?

Apply at cre8tionproducts.com/pages/brand-ambassadors. We look for licensed nail professionals with an engaged audience, and around five thousand followers is the usual mark - but apply anyway if the work is strong, because we read the work before the numbers.

We review applications in batches and reach out when there is a fit, so we cannot reply to everyone. If you do not hear from us it is not a verdict on your work - keep tagging us, we do watch.

I am organising an event or a class and want Cre8tion to sponsor it.

That is a different conversation from an ambassador application and it goes to a different person. Email info@cre8tionproducts.com with the dates, the audience and what you are asking for, and put SPONSORSHIP in the subject line so it does not sit in a queue.
